Our Mission: ‘Helping dogs live their best lives through relationship building, education and a balanced training approach’.

Hi my name is Rae and I am the founder and Head Trainer of Pawesome Pups.  I’m a qualified and experienced dog trainer who is truly passionate about helping dogs live their best lives.  The critical part of enabling this for our dogs is to educate ourselves as dog owners so we can build a trusted relationship with our dogs and provide the level of enrichment, training and exercise that our four-legged friends require.

I hold a Certificate III in Dog Behaviour and Training from the National Dog Training Federation of Australia.  I am Dog First Aid certified and fully insured.  I have two Boxer dogs - Buster who is my regal 14 year old gentleman and Lexi who is my beautiful and very energetic 1 year old girl.  I have owned Boxer dogs for many years so I understand the breed very well but I’m also experienced working with most dog breeds as well as a plenitude of puppies throughout my experience working at puppy schools.  I am lucky to have grown up with dogs and I have always had them around me.  Some other breeds I have previously owned include a fox terrier, poodle, maltese, beagle and some cross breeds.

I understand all dogs and dog owners are different and have varying goals and needs for their dogs so I tailor my advice and training to suit you and your dog’s circumstances.  I pride myself on providing the best scientifically proven advice and tools to you so you can effectively manage any issues you may be having with your dog.  I also provide other services for your four-legged friend that are listed under the ‘Services’ tab here on my website.  Whether you’re looking for some advice to raise a happy and balanced puppy, would like your dog to be trained to walk nicely next to you on lead or if you’re experiencing some issues with your dog’s behaviour, Pawesome Pups would love to be able to assist you and your dog.

We are based in Bracken Ridge and we service North Brisbane and the southern parts of Moreton Bay Region.
